Stop-Cocks and Shut-Off Valves
Springs which need to work in tough environments of salt water, chemicals and sewage. Regularly produced from stainless steel, they undergo a process of shot peening - a process in which tiny balls are shot by pressure onto the spring surface to extend the life of the spring. Seawater and chemicals demand the highest degree of durability in the springs they use, often requiring the use of special materials like stainless steel 316, Elgiloy and Hastelloy. Nordia's wide and varied range of valve springs are in use in applications across many different industries. These include fire protection, water-works, irrigation and the petroleum industries.
